My reactions to YJ series finale…
Wally dying… Nnnnooo… I didn’t cry until I saw fan art of Artemis hugging their dog saying “I’m sorry boy, he’s not coming home,” I lost it… That’s twice a picture of a dog waiting for their owner to come home has put me in tears, thanks DC….
As to Tim and Cassie… SAY WHAT???? Random where did that come from? One episode three lines, and they’re together WHAT? We couldn’t get some Babs/Dick? I could’ve gone with that one…
Besides that, you couldn’t throw me a bone, THEY’RE STANDING BY HIS FREAKING MEMORIAL, Something ANYTHING, at least a name? Even when Dick takes a break it could’ve been, “Jason, Wally… it’s too much, I need time, it’s not the same with out them.”
As for the last scene with Apokolips… SERIOUSLY?… there better be a movie. That’s all, there better be a straight to DVD movie…
Oh and on a separate note, iTunes fails again, I had to go find the show online. Fail iTunes, Fail.

There is a reason why people voted to kill him off back in the day. My personal feelings is that it was very wrong, (A Death In The Family) but yes, Jason was an awful little brat. Perhaps back then, if I had been older than two and been able to read comics, I may have voted in the stronger direction.
Yes, as an adult and antagonist, Jason is a lot of fun. I think being a zombie, being put in a Lazarus Pit and practically raised as an al Ghul made his character improve vastly.
I’m only sorry that they keep giving Jason Dick’s hand-me-downs (clothing, friends, storylines…seriously. Quit it.) instead of creating an actual story arc for him.
Can people knock it off with this. Stop making this out like nobody liked him because of the call in vote. He “lost” by a very slim margin and if the vote hadn’t been rigged he would’ve lived. Plus, the numbers do not actually reflect how people liked Jason.
1). Children were restricted in their votes because the phones charged a premium.
2) Plenty of people didn’t like the concept of Robin in general and would’ve happily voted for death had Dick been in his place.
3)There was a bias against him because he wasn’t Dick and not for his actual personality traits.
4) Some voters just thought it would be and interesting story.
Why do people have this stupid idea that nobody liked him during his original run as Robin despite the fact that his resurrection was orchestrated by a man who liked him during his original run as Robin.
Don’t give me this “bad Robin” crap, it’s revisionist bullshit. I actually read him as Robin before I read the post-resurrection stuff. He wasn’t a brat. Not even remotely. He was brave and sweet and took the plight of the people he was trying to help very personally. Even after the oppressive traumatic environment he grew up in, he still cared about people and was ready to protect them with his life. He fucking died trying to save his mother who abandoned him and willingly let the Joker beat him almost to death to save her own skin. What a little prick though, huh?
